The system consists of two parts: a program for the collection and storage of measurements with several methods and in addition some templates for Excel spreadsheets to evaluate the data by various criteria.

In some cases the system is employed exclusively locally. This means that both parts (program and evaluation templates) are stored at a notebook and are there used only.
If it is necessary to perform measurements at different control counters several notebooks are required. Because the recorded data have to be collected, evaluated and compared in common, a data transfer to the master notebook or server must be accomplished. In this configuration, the slave notebooks are performing data capture (1) whereas the master/server has the objective of evaluation (2). Therefore at the last only the EXCEL templates have to be installed.
